Hi, I’m Jo ~ photographer, creative director and founder of BLOOM Fabulous.
I’m a brand photographer and creative storyteller based in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, working with beautiful brands and flourishing founders. I work with small creative businesses to create beautiful, authentic photography and content that helps people see just how brilliant they are.
Think of me as your creative champion.
You’ve already built the business. You’ve created the products, opened the studio, styled the space, made the things, grown the flowers, cooked the food...
My job is to help you see it through a different lens – and then help your customers see it too.
I’m fascinated by the story behind the business. The hands that make something. The light falling through a studio window. A beautifully considered interior. Flowers in a bucket before they become an arrangement. A table being prepared. A maker completely absorbed in what they do.
Those are the things I love to photograph.
I’m particularly drawn to interiors, lifestyle, florals, products and beautiful spaces – but really, I’m interested in people who care deeply about what they create.
It's all about storytelling... and that’s where my marketing background comes in.
I don’t just turn up with a camera and tell you where to stand. I think about the bigger picture – what you want people to feel when they discover your business, what your images need to communicate and how you can use them across your website, social media and marketing.
Because beautiful photographs are lovely... but if they actually help your business? Even better.
So, how did BLOOM begin?
Photography came into my life more than a decade ago, initially as a way of documenting my journey into motherhood.
But somewhere along the way, I realised it had become much more than that. It became a way of noticing things, slowing down and finding beauty in the everyday. And eventually, in my mid-forties, I realised I had become a little disconnected from the creativity that had always been such an important part of me. So I decided to do something about it...
That decision became BLOOM Fabulous.
What started as a personal mission to reconnect with my creativity has grown into something much bigger... a creative world built around photography, flowers, beautiful spaces, storytelling and the people who bring ideas to life.
BLOOM is about flourishing. Becoming. Growing into the person you're meant to be.
I think that applies to businesses too. Sometimes your business has outgrown its photographs. Sometimes the thing you've created is far more brilliant than the way you're currently showing it. And sometimes you just need someone with fresh eyes who can see it.
That's where I come in. I’m here to champion what you’ve built, find the beauty in the details and create imagery that feels completely, unmistakably yours.

My floristry work is rooted in an intentional, natural style, using locally grown blooms wherever possible to create arrangements that feel effortless, personal and beautifully considered.
I design wedding flowers with a focus on seasonality, texture and a sense of ease - flowers that feel 'just picked' and natural.
I also love creating Christmas wreaths and working with seasonal flowers throughout the year, bringing nature’s changing textures and colours into every design.

I’m a freelance florist based in Tunbridge Wells in Kent, working with local florists on everything from flower prep to creating beautiful bouquets and online content. I combine my floristry and photography skills to create beautiful floral art in real life and on screen... and nothing brings me more joy!
