Small Business Stories - Beth Grayston, Fresh Air Thinking, Kent
One of my favourite things about being a brand photographer is meeting inspiring small business owners and learning about the work they do.
Through my own experience of coaching, I know how valuable it can be to have someone create space for reflection, clarity and new perspective.
That’s why I am delighted to feature accredited coach Beth Grayston from Fresh Air Thinking in my Small Business Stories series.
Beth loves nothing more than helping people through the power of conversation and it is a pleasure to share and celebrate another business owner who thrives on helping others grow and reach their potential.
Executive and personal coach in Tunbridge Wells, Kent
Some of the best conversations happen when we step away from our desks.
Beth Grayston, accredited coach and founder of Fresh Air Thinking, is an executive and personal coach, trainer and facilitator based in Tunbridge Wells who brings a refreshing approach to coaching and leadership development - often quite literally outdoors. Beth offers in person sessions (indoors or outdoors), online or phone sessions on a 1:1 basis, as well as group sessions for businesses.
Beth's coaching focuses on raising self awareness and through creative sessions and walking conversations spent in nature, Beth helps individuals and teams gain clarity, fresh perspective and the confidence to move forward.
Creative coaching and thinking differently
Beth believes that coaching doesn’t always have to happen in a meeting room. Her training, facilitating and walk-and-talk coaching sessions create space for open conversation, reflection and fresh thinking, helping clients see challenges from a new perspective... often shaping sessions around a dedicated and thought-provoking theme.
Beth’s work also embraces creativity as part of the coaching process. She often encourages clients to think visually and playfully, using tools such as drawing, colour, photographs and even Lego to explore ideas and unlock new ways of thinking. These creative techniques can help people step outside familiar patterns, see challenges from a different perspective and discover solutions that might not emerge in a more traditional conversation.
Building community through Wander Women and the Business Book Club
Beth also brings people together through her Wander Women events, where groups of women meet for relaxed walk-and-talk gatherings, creating space for connection, conversation and new ideas. Wander Women is a chance to network with other women who are looking to create closer connections in business or otherwise... and have some fun and get a wellbeing boost at the same time!
In Tunbridge Wells, Beth also co-runs the Business Book Club alongside local interior designer Clare Connelly - a welcoming space for local business owners to share ideas, discover new books and support each other’s growth.
Beth joined me for The BRAND Refresh session, where we captured a set of relaxed portraits and brand images that reflect her thoughtful, approachable style and the work she does supporting others.
If you're interested to know more about working with a coach to better understand yourself, give Beth a follow on Instagram and find out when her next creative coaching sessions are taking place.
Would you love a photo session for your business?
With all of my brand photography packages, clients are automatically offered a place in Small Business Stories.
I learn so much about the people and passion behind each business during our shoots - it feels only right to share those stories and champion them.
If you’d like your business to be featured too, I’d love to hear from you.
